Whole class isolation

In the event of a whole class/school lockdown, we will once again move to a remote platform for learning across the school. We shall be using Microsoft Teams as our platform for delivery of online learning. We have been developing this since October with the children, so hopefully the transition from school-based teaching to online taught lessons will be as fluid as possible.

Each child within school has their own unique log-in and password to access Teams remotely. From here, class teachers will update the 'channels' with work daily with an expectation of all set work to be 'handed in' for review and potential feedback.

Mrs Sanderson-Hutley, who has developed most of out online learning platform, has produced two videos in order to assist you with accessing home learning and then to hand in assigned work. Please click on the link below to see an explanation of how to access teams. The video lower down the page gives a guide on how to hand in assigned work back to class teachers.

If you have any issues or require some technical assistance, please contact your child's class teacher or a member of the school office so that we can support you with this transition to remote learning.

The aim of this page is to give you the most up to date information about the coronavirus and how it is impacting school, as well as providing useful resources that might help support you as parents. We really appreciate how difficult the situation is for all; please remember that we are here to support you all – do not hesitate to contact us for any help at all.
