Welcome to Friends of Kingsley CP School

What is the PTA?

The Kingsley CP School PTA (Friends of Kingsley) is a charity run by parents and staff from the school.  Our purpose is to raise funds for additional resources and activities for the children of our school. We organise, and run, fun events for all the children and families, whilst actually having fun ourselves. We have some fabulous volunteers you give time and energy to the PTA, but always welcome new volunteers and ideas.

What the PTA does:

We meet regularly to discuss: ways we can raise new funds for our schools, and to plan events.  We are always open to new ideas.  Last  year (2014/15) we raised nearly £4000 through events such as our Christmas Fair, Christmas Hampers raffle, Wine Tasting evening, Spooky Disco and Family Camp. The money we raised contributed to items and activities such as:

  A really easy way for us to raise funds for the school is for everyone to sign up to easyfundraising which means that any purchases that you make online (from pretty much any retailer) a donation is made to the school without any cost to you.  It really is so easy so if you haven’t already registered please click the link below:

  using this link means to register means that the school gets an additional £1 per new person registering as well as an extra 20% on their donations for the first 12 months.

  Additionally, by using easysearch instead of Google or any other search engine, you can help raise even more money for our school. For example, if you used easysearch to make 10 searches a day, you could raise around £20 a year for our school.
