Saplings 2023 - 2024

Welcome

Welcome to Saplings Nursery at Kingsley Community Primary School. We want to welcome you and your child into our safe, exciting, and stimulating environment where we can learn and grow together. We are a term time only nursery, this prepares children for the similar school routines that they will one day experience.

Our play based curriculum makes the most of your child's interest and previous experiences, ensuring that they always feel included and valued. We always look carefully at the children’s individual needs and use a balance of adult directed teaching and child led learning.

Stay and Play 

We welcome children and families into the room from 8:40 am until 8:55 am. Stay and Play is a special time where you can see all of the things your child loves to do at saplings. You can also use this time to support your child to build their independence as they put away their belongings.

Outdoors 

Saplings are always outside, so please do bring in a warm coat, wellies, and weather suit for wet days. Make sure everything has a name label. All wellies will be kept safe where your child can access them when needed.

I have heard so much about you all from Mrs. Sanderson-Hutley, Mrs. Taylor, and Mrs. DeBeer so I am really looking forward to working with you all this year.
